If you mean SKY BANDITS, starring James Newill, it is PD according to the Film Superlist. No renewal.
It would be great to see that.

You got it. Any word on the other one? I'm betting it's ok but I'll wait for confirmation.

Law of The Jungle is PD. They didn't renew the copyright.

Actually for a Monogram Picture from this era it's unusual that they would have even registered for copyright, but the did:

LAW OF THE JUNGLE. Monogram Pictures
Corp., c1942. 6 reels, sd.
Credits: Producer, Lindsley Parsons;
director, Jean Yarbrough; screenplay,
George Bricker; photographer. Max Stengler;
film editor. Jack Ogilvie.
Monogram Pictures Corp.; 6Feb42;
LP11515.

Hey, since when is it a bad thing to have a lot of knowledge in any field? Since when is it cause to to call someone an a$$hole? Since when is someone a "little worm" for letting a guy know whether some movies are copyright or not, especially when he's asked? Thank God running into people like you on this site doesn't happen very often. Why don't you go put a plastic bag over your head and play "spaceman"?

I'm not going to sink to your level of name calling but just so you know, becuase the obvious seems to have escaped you, some people here are concerned about wether the films they post really are public domain or not. They post a question asking for a person with the resources necessary to check the films checks for them.

I've got no interest in having copyright meaterial being here, the Internet Archive has no interest in having copyright material on here and anyone who is a regular user, uploader or downloader, has no interest in copyright material being here. A not-for-profit website collecting public domain works can not afford the kinds of billion dollar copyright cases the likes of Youtube get against them.

I'm not the copyright police, just someone who helps people out with the copyright questions trying to give as much accurate and detailed information as I can. If that makes me an "A$$hole" in your eyes I simply don't care. Your posts in this forum aren't particularly intellegent and therefore they are not insulting. A bit petty, base-level, trashy - but not particularly insulting.

Ok, I'll get to work on this. SKY BANDITS will have to wait until I can get another copy someplace, but I'll have it up when I do.

Well, it looks like SKY BANDITS is out of the question. The disc I have is broken so I can't upload it. Some other time, I guess.
